Welado has acquired Readcon Oy – strengthening our position in real estate development consulting, and construction management in the Helsinki metropolitan area

We are pleased to announce that Welado and Readcon Oy have agreed on a transaction. Tomi Nurmela, founder of Readcon, along with his team will significantly strengthen Welado's position as a national real estate development consultant, and also as a project leader and construction manager in the Helsinki metropolitan area.

"I met Welado during a joint project in Oulu. The cooperation went smoothly from the beginning. After the project, we started discussions on deeper cooperation, which eventually led to the final result that we get to published today. I was convinced by Welado's values, people-centred approach and the platform it provides for the best talent. Readcon's operations were based on the same values from the very beginning and during our discussions we concluded that together we can offer our customers even easier projects", says Tomi Nurmela, CEO and owner of Readcon Oy, referring to Welado’s customer promise of an always easy project. 

The acquisition will expand Welado's range of services for property owners and investors. In particular, Welado's project leadership services and real estate development expertise will be strengthened, and the common team for construction management, supervision and project management in the metropolitan area will grow.

The day-to-day work and projects will continue as before and the acquisition will not change anything for our customers.Our contracts and contact people will also remain unchanged.

"Tomi will take on a major role in leading Welado's real estate business. True to our style, the rest of the pieces will fall into place during the autumn, once the current and new Welado employees have got to know each other better. Our goal is to leverage everyone's strengths," Noora Haverinen continues.

After the transaction, Welado will own 100% of Readcon Oy's share capital. Tomi Nurmela, for his part, will join Welado Group Oy as a minority owner.
